BROWNS VALLEY — Mrs. Ruth Blanche Wilkinson, 90, a life resident of this community and oldest living member of the Browns Valley Missionary Baptist Church, died Tuesday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert McMurray, near Browns Valley. She had been seriously ill two weeks. She was born here April 1, 1881, a daughter of William and Melissa Todd Servies. She married E. Frank Wilkinson here Dec. 16, 1902. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, E. Clair Wilkinson of near Parkersburg; the daughter, Mrs. Grace McMurray; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Browns Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. William Malott officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland after 3 p.m. Thursday and until noon Friday. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour preceding services.
